Description

Last week we went to eat at the Habana Restaurant on sixth street, a cuban specialties restaurant. I took the opportunity to bring my D50 camera with me and started shooting around on sixth and seventh streets, taking advantage of the incredible light that there is around sunset and with a slightly cloudy sky.

Amazing. I love the colors of the sky versus the road. The signs and buildings aren't too contrasting and overly colorful against the golds and steels/grays in the sky and road. And, there aren't 20 cars in the road in this shot!! Cheers, mate!

I was going to take my D50 with me to sixth st this weekend. Looking around to see what I should avoid. I just joined the Art Institute of Austin and need some landscape/scenery drawings. Looks like I need to avoid the Ritz. LOL
